Objective:
TechStart aims to assist Palestinian IT companies by improving their managerial capabilities in key areas such as: management, organizational development, strategy, leadership, and outsourcing. This will enable these companies to adopt superior managerial practices that contribute to their long-term success.
Overview:
TechStart through a service provider will conduct gap analysis/assessment for the targeted firms to assess the areas of management, organizational development, strategy, leadership, outsourcing readiness and where needed and relevant, energy efficiency, to help in identifying the shortcomings of each enrolled firm and build their action plans to mitigate those shortcomings. Ultimately, this assignment will help the firms to adopt general good managerial practices as well as practices that are specifically required by existing and potential clients.

Overview:
This program supports IT firms to improve their capabilities to attract and manage higher-value business opportunities through targeted technical assistance and the placement of expert international coaches. These specialists work one to one with awarded companies to provide hands-on support in the following areas:
• Managerial and organizational capabilities that hold back the productivity of Palestinian IT sector firms.
• Upskilling of company existing staff (including engineers) as a measure to build resilience for businesses to be better prepared to respond to crisis such as country specific fragility crisis.’
• strategy and leadership skills.
